Harvey is the Chairman of the London Development Agency, Chairman of Prudential, Vice Chair of the Mayor of London’s Skills and Employment Board and the former Chairman of Man Group plc. He is a founding donor and trustee of New Philanthropy Capital, a trustee of Charity Technology Trust, which is focused on helping the charitable sector use information technology more effectively; and a trustee of the Royal Anniversary Trust. Harvey has an MA in Geography from St Catherine’s College, Cambridge.
Doug has been the Chairman of CFAB since January 2004, having previously been chair of the Spring Fair committee. He spent his working life in the Royal Navy, following which he was the CEO of a leading legal business for several years. He has previous experience as a Charity Trustee.
Sheila became a trustee in 2009, and as treasurer, works with the management team overseeing CFAB finances, cash flows and budgets. Sheila is a Chartered Accountant and acts for private clients and owner managed businesses.

Recently retired CEO of Parents and Children Together a voluntary sector agency specialising in adoption, fostering and community support for parents and children. Previous posts include Principal Psychiatric Social Worker for Berkshire,National Chair of the Consortium of Voluntary adoption agencies anda member ofa number of Parliamentary working parties on adoption. Currently working as an independent social work consultant.
Retired in 2007 as a Director in the Ministry of Justice. Previously held a range of posts in the Home Office, Lord Chancellor's Department and Department for Constitutional Affairs.
Rob Hutchinson CBE Formerly a Director of Social Services for over 8 years, recently retired as Trustee of the NSPCC and a former adviserto the Department of Children Schools and Familiesfor Every Child Matters. He is now a national and international consultant on children's well being.
Ms Pam Louhichi is Director of Diplomatic Sales for Guoman and Thistle Hotels. After almost ten years in a similar role in London, Pam has a good knowledge of the Diplomatic Community in London.Previous roles have been within Corporate Sales for various hotel groups as well as taking care of the Middle Eastern market for Forte Hotels.
Mrs Palmer has had a very personal involvement with ISS since 1992 when the Hong Kong branch of ISS assisted with the adoption of her two children from Romania. She has been a Trustee since 2006, assisting with fundraising and on the Fundraising Development Board since 2009.
Dr Sattaripour has a B,MSC and PhD in Mechanical Engineering and was formerly a Professor and the Vice Chancellor at SUTA University. He is now founder and Chairman of SGC International Group as well as the founder of various foreign charities. He has been a Trustee and Director of the Iran Heritage Foundation and has been a Trustee of CFAB and Chairman of the CFAB Golf Day and Gala Dinner event since 2000.
Alex Verdan QC is a family law barrister. Alex specialises in complex and serious children cases. He is also a Deputy High Court Judge. He sits on various committees including: - Bar Standards Board Conduct Committee since 2004; - Family Law Bar Association Committee 2003-2005; - Centre for Child and Family Reform Committee 2009 His particular role at CFAB is training and education.
