Caring for trafficked children – BAAF guides for foster carers and social workers

Two new guides published by the British Association for Adoption and Fostering provide information on trafficking within and into the UK, how children fall prey to traffickers, why young people may be trafficked and what happens to them once they are.

Illustrated with case studies and quotations from young people who have themselves been trafficked, the guides provide a good introduction to an area that foster carers and social workers may not previously have encountered.
